The Odessa High Bronchos launched into the 2008 State Play-offs with a convincing 54-22 victory over El-Paso Franklin while the Midland High Bulldogs defeated El Paso Coronado 38-16. From District 2, Odessa and Permian stay alive in Div 1, while Midland stay alive in Dv 2. In major upsets, both Midland Lee and Abiline Eagles have been knocked out in the first round of the playoffs.

Next Weeks games sees the Permian Panthers(11-0) take on Burleson (5-6) while Odessa (9-2) take on Arlington (7-4). In Div 2 Midland (8-3) take on Arlington Bowie (10-1).
